Privacy Policy — Ashen Road

Effective 24 September 2026.

Ashen Road does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. There is no account to create, nothing to sign in to, and the game makes no network requests of any kind.

What the game stores

Three things, all written only to private storage on your own device:

  1. Your progress: which chapters you have reached and finished, and the checkpoint inside the chapter you are playing.
  2. Your settings: sound on or off, music and fight-sound volume, and frame rate.
  3. Your presentation choice: which art style the game is drawn in.

That data never leaves the device. It is not uploaded, backed up to any server we operate, or readable by us. We have no server.

If you have iCloud Backup enabled, iOS may include the app’s storage in your own encrypted device backup. That is Apple’s backup of your device, under your control and your Apple account, not something we receive or can read.

What the game does not collect

No name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, location, device identifiers, or advertising identifiers. No analytics, no crash reporting, no usage telemetry. No third-party SDK in the app gathers any of these either, because the app contains no code that opens a network connection at all.

Advertising and purchases

There is no advertising in Ashen Road and nothing to buy inside it.

Children

The game collects nothing about anybody, children included.

Deleting your data

Delete the app. That removes your progress and settings along with it. There is nothing held anywhere else to request or erase.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of Ashen Road ever collects anything, this page will be updated before that version ships, and the change will be described here rather than buried.
